Building a generation that's 1% better, every single day.
Teen Wellness Society is a student-led organization giving teens the tools, community, and confidence to build lifelong habits of physical and mental wellness — chapter by chapter, across the country.
Wellness shouldn't wait until adulthood.
We believe the habits that shape a healthy life — movement, mindfulness, nutrition, community — are best built early, by teens, for teens.
Move with purpose
Peer-led fitness sessions and challenges that make movement social, fun, and sustainable — not intimidating.
Mind matters too
Workshops on stress, sleep, and mental health, built around real teen experiences and led by trained student facilitators.
Grow a chapter
A turnkey playbook lets any student launch a chapter at their school in weeks — with national support behind them.
One organization. A growing network of student leaders.
Every chapter is run by teens, for teens — backed by a shared mission, shared resources, and a national recognition system.
Empowering teens to take ownership of their own wellness — and each other's.
Placeholder mission copy: Teen Wellness Society exists to close the gap between what teens know about health and what they actually practice, by putting students in charge of the solution.
Teen Wellness Society was created by a teen after the problems they witnessed when they navigated high school and saw many students' health choices because of misinformation on the Internet and convenience.
Building habits and a balanced life was a difficult challenge for them and their classmates because it required consistency where motivation wasn't always there, the courage to be different when everyone else did the same thing, and independence where it felt lonely.
Teen Wellness Society was founded to combat those problems and make sure there was a community supporting the right kind of effort.
Teens are stressed, sedentary, and stretched thin.
Rising anxiety, shrinking sleep, and disappearing PE time have left a generation that knows wellness matters but lacks the structure, role models, and community to act on it. [Placeholder: replace with your real research / stats.]
Peer-led, not adult-prescribed.
Every workshop, challenge, and chapter is built and run by teens. We provide the playbook, training, and national network — students provide the energy and credibility that actually moves the needle.
Our values
Peer-led
We trust teens to lead other teens. Every program is designed and delivered by student volunteers.
1% better daily
We don't chase overnight transformations — we celebrate small, consistent, compounding progress.
Built to scale
Every chapter follows a shared playbook so a school in Ohio and a school in Texas can both thrive.

FAQ
Once you register as a volunteer, a volunteer tracker will be provided to you where you can log and submit your hours.
Yes — volunteers and workshop hosts earn the same tiered recognition as chapter leaders.
Your total hours never reset — they're cumulative for life. However, your recognition tier resets annually on your volunteer anniversary, so you can keep earning new tiers each year. For example, you might earn Bronze in your first year and Gold in your second.
